From June 1-3, 2009 International Telecoms Week (ITW 2009), the meeting for the Global Wholesale Telecommunications Community will take place in Washington DC, USA.
From Georgian side Georgian Railway Telecom Ltd will be represented by its director Mr. George Gotoshia.

GRT at Caspian Telecom 2009
In April 21-22, 2009 in
Istanbul (Turkey) was held Caspian Telecom 2009 - the 8th
regional Turkey, Caspian, Black Sea and Russia Conference and Showcase of
Telecommunication and IT technologies.
From Georgian side the only participant was Georgian Railway Telecom Ltd, represented by its Director – Mr. George Gotoshia.

April 8, 16:00 pm, at the 8th kilometer of Samtredia-Kutaisi Railway trunk, local private person whose identity has been recognized, with the purpose of collecting the scrap-iron damaged the Railway Telecom’s Ltd. fiber-optic trunk cable, through which internet was provided for the most part of Georgia

GRT starts to provide capacity to Caucasus Online
The Poti-Varna project started earlier this year is accomplished. Georgian Railway Telecom is providing a capacity from Poti to Tbilisi PoP via its network to Caucasus Online, owner of the huge submarine network.
