GRT at Caspian Telecom 2009

In April 21-22, 2009  in Istanbul (Turkey) was held Caspian Telecom 2009 - the 8^th regional Turkey, Caspian, Black Sea and Russia Conference and Showcase of Telecommunication and IT technologies.

From Georgian side the only participant was Georgian Railway Telecom Ltd, represented by its Director – Mr. George Gotoshia.

This conference has become necessary meeting for Black Sea States and their neighboring Caspian and Central Asian regions. This event offers huge potential for both established investors and for new market participants. The conference is an opportunity to discuss issues concerning telecom’s industry between commercial and state telecom organizations.  It also promotes similar seminars and ICT exchange programmes between countries and companies.

Caspian telecom plays an important role in bringing together many stakeholders in the sector from different countries and in the development of telecommunications in the whole of the region. It gives the unique opportunity to exhibit and demonstrate their latest products and services and the new technology that will help develop and modernize the telecoms industry in the region.
